Functionality:
Probably one of the most feature rich faucet in the market at under $300, the Kraus KPF-1602 is designed to mimic industrial grade faucets with its high rise spray head and separate locking lever and a low faucet head with its own swiveling neck and temperature control lever. Both the outlets are controlled by a single water lever and together you get the chance to operate either or both of the heads. Solid brass heads ensure a perfect spray pattern all the time while its aerated spray and power faucet outlet are endowed with 2.2 GPM flow rate. I haven’t yet seen another faucet that is so functional.
Style:
Not everyone is going to love its industrial style. The Kraus KPF-1602 isn’t the sexiest faucet in the market but to those who love playing with professional accessories or are in complete admiration of their kitchen, this faucet will be your latest love interest. It is large, spring loaded, double headed and totally functional by style and design. Yet, Kraus manages to keep it looking sexy and sleek thanks to a chrome triple plate finishing on top of the all brass construction. Funky yet simple handles, total swivel mode and shiny armor make this a top faucet in my books.
Durability:
There was a time when Kraus left something to desire but today’s products from this premier company are nothing short of awesome. As far as durability and longevity goes, this faucet in particular is one of the best Kraus products I have yet seen. Solid brass all the way from the water connection ports to the spray heads with complete chrome finishing, heavy construction and high rise design are sure to help you get decades of service out of it. The only two things that you will have to regularly look after is the Sedal ceramic cartridges and the base mount, which is plastic unlike the rest of the brass body.

How about an extra spray head? The Kraus KPF-1602 provides an additional spray head other than the conventional faucet head. This spray head is spring tension mounted that helps retract it back when not in use but because it uses an entirely separate storing platform rather than merging with the main faucet, you never have to worry about sagging or odd looking faucet heads after a few months.

Warranty & Repair:
Kraus has over the years bettered its record with Customer support and service. This particular faucet comes with a limited warranty which covers any eventual failure or damage that is not induced due to user negligence. Basically, the cartridge, mounting base made from plastic and other components aren’t covered under warranty but the entire faucet definitely is. So, if you ever find the faucet horribly going wrong, get it replaced or repaired from free directly from Kraus.
Conclusion:
I don’t think you are going to find another industrial faucet for your kitchen in this price range. Basically, the Kraus KPF-1602 holds monopoly in its own realm with uber-cool features, dual nozzles, solid brass construction and plenty of rave user reviews. From what I hear, this is a faucet designed to last really long, even after your kids finish college!
