Summary:

Our Experience:

Considered by many to be the brand chosen by professionals, Moen 7594SRS is yet another masterpiece from the house of Moen. Classified under the Moen Arbor line, this particular faucet draws heavily on fluent lines with a curvaceous body that blends together into a singular entity. A single handle lever designed to make life easier operates the pull down spout that stays put thanks to a secure docking mechanism. It can extend with the help of the reflex system and retracts back quickly too. A toggle switch lets you quickly change between aerated and spray mode. This faucet is made from stainless steel finished in five different styles, each beautiful in its own right and easy to maintain. The Moen 7594SRS at 24.8 inch by 12.2 inch brings simplicity into the kitchen with perfection.

Functionality: 4/5

Getting charged up about a kitchen faucet is no easy feat but I felt sufficiently excited the moment I laid my eyes on the Moen 7594SRS. Easy to follow instructions, simplified installation made it a breeze changing my old faucet out with this one. A word of advice though, you need two to quickly and efficiently install this faucet as the restraining nut can be a bother if no one holds on to the faucet during the installation. Counterweight based pull-down faucet works just fine, so is the aerated and spray mode with less pressure, which means reduced splashing. One excellent feature of this faucet is its anywhere handle. Basically, you choose how to orient the handle, keep it to the right or the left or even in the middle.

Pros:
Handle can be positioned anywhere, zero splashing and spatter, easy maintenance, decent design and long lasting warranty.
Cons:
Installation requires two people, counterweight at times bumps against plumbing, spray pressure is tad bit less.

Style: 5/5

No question about it, the Moen Arbor 7594SRS is a totally chic and stylish kitchen faucet. At first, I thought it looked just fine in brushed stainless steel finish but decided to purchase the chrome finish since my sink is shiny. This was an excellent decision and unlike other vibrant chrome finishes, it doesn’t look artificial at all. Stainless steel construction adds weight and the chrome finish is uneven with certain areas looking naturally dull than others. As for seamless integration of the pull-down wand, you won’t even notice the demarcation lines if you don’t look closely enough.

Durability: 4/5

As I mentioned, the stainless steel construction adds weight to the faucet and because the counterweight, nozzle and every single component is steel and not plastic, you never have to worry about anything breaking or tearing over time. The only concern for me is that the counterweight for the pull-down spout tends to snag with plumbing lines under the sink. I don’t think this will detract from its longevity but a more simplified counterweight design would have been nice. The surface of the faucet never catches stains nor does it hold on to water spots or fingerprints, basically the Moen 7594SRS is a faucet made for a lifetime, as have many reviewers already commented on Amazon. Some have had the previous model of this line for well over 5 years.

Extras: 5/5

As for extras, the Moen 7594SRS actually doesn’t give anything more than a conventional pull down faucet. I would actually go one step ahead by saying that this is a good thing. With less technology or functionality, there is less chance of a goof up. In fact, the simple toggle switch, metallic full-body construction are what make this a super easy faucet to use and maintain.

Warranty And Repair: 5/5

You won’t find the information on Amazon and very few places actually express the warranty cover but this faucet comes with a limited lifetime warranty. In fact, any damage, replacement parts you need for your faucet is shipped free of cost by Moen to your doorstep. Their customer service is prompt, responsive and efficient. You can call their toll free number or drop them a mail any time of the day.

Our Overall Rating: 4.6/5

Moen is a respected brand name, famous in Europe and trying to make headways into the American market. As such, it is a less expensive alternative to many leading American brands and the Moen 7594SRS shows why this brand name is catching on quick. Hardly anything wrong with this faucet, you really have to be a perfectionist to find flaws in it. I think I am going to stick to this faucet for my recreational kitchen while I try others out.

    Excellent site!

One question – why the Moen 7594RS for your recreational kitchen instead of the Delta 9178-DD-DST?

I need to find a replacement for a Price Pfister wand-style faucet that’s been in use since 1992. It’s been a real workhorse, repaired only once in its lifetime with parts obtained using the Price Pfister limited lifetime warranty.

    Thank you,

    Deb Kama

Very informative review that clinched the deal for us. This is a beautiful faucet. I’ve had it with getting “good deals” and changing my faucet every 2 to 3 years! Thanks for taking the time to write this. The extra real pictures helped immensely.
